- Right click My Network Places and select Properties
- Click Advanced -> Optional Networking Components
- Select Other Network File and Print Services
- Click Next
- connect to larry(see connecting to hopper)
- get the files it asks for from \\larry\applications\w2k\i386
- Click Start -> Settings -> Printers
- Double click Add Printer
- Click Next
- Select Local Printer
- Uncheck Automatically Detect and Install my Plug and Play Printer
- Click Next
- Select Create New Port
- Select LPR Port
- Click Next
- Type
larry.csee.ogi.edu in the first box
- In the second box, type the name of the printer being added, example:

- If the Add Printer Wizard says the driver is already installed, keep the driver
- If the Add Printer Wizard asks for a file, you can get it from larry
- Connect to larry(see connecting to hopper)
- Point the Add Printer Wizard to \\larry\applications\w2k\i386
- Click Next
- Type a name for the printer in the Name box(example:
My cse-lj2 Printer) and decide whether it should be your default printer
- Click Next
- Choose the option Do Not Share This Printer
- Click Next
- Select Yes to print a test page
- Click Next
