Adding a XP Printer

CSEE maintains a number of different printers for use from both the Unix and Windows environments. Here are the steps to follow to set up printers in Windows XP.

  1. From the Start menu, choose Run...
  2. Enter \\homer.csee.ogi.edu in the Open: box and click OK
    3. Note: If you are not logged into the CSEE domain, you will be prompted to enter a username and password. Enter CSEE\username and your password. You should also check the "Remember my Password" box.
  3. Double-click the printer you would like to add.
